Writing content is honestly 5% of what it takes to build a successful inbound business on LinkedIn.
95% of the focus while you are scaling your personal brand should be spent on:
Most people focus too much on content and not enough on these 3 things.
Now, this is the beautiful thing about learning to write with AI. Instead of spending hours writing posts only to get zero to little reactions….
With AI, you can learn to write much much faster and simply edit with your tone of voice and knowledge of what works on LinkedIn.
Before I get into some actual editing tips, let's take a look at some mistakes creators make with AI writing in general…
1. They don’t format their posts properly.
A good LinkedIn post has a few simple ingredients.
A really good hook is so important to creating a post that gets traction.
”How to” or “How I” perform very well and making a bold statement in your hook also tends to perform.
As mentioned in previous lessons, educational content rules on LinkedIn, so teach your audience something in your niche and do that often and you will be happy.
Lastly, you want to make the end of your post easy to engage with. That means adding a simple question or a statement that stops someone’s skim scroll.
I like to use a PS to do that as a change of pace.
Always start here
That leads us to the next two mistakes, which are also formatting-related……
2. They DON’T edit their AI posts at all. (Underformatted)
I’ve seen it so many times: a post complaining that their AI-generated post didn’t sound like them and that they got no reach from it.
But this is all based on poor expectations. AI was never going to write 100% of the post for you. So whoever told you that or wherever you got that idea u need to lose it.
Using one of my prompts and then going and posting the AI-generated post without any edits is a recipe for disaster.
This post may look okay, but it still needs editing because it doesn’t make sense….
Don’t prompt and post things like this without some edits please..
